Estadia is built to handle some of the most sensitive moments in people's lives. Here is how we protect data.
Data Encryption
All data transmitted between the browser and Estadia is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. Data at rest is encrypted by default on Google Cloud, our database and hosting provider, using AES-256 encryption. File uploads are stored securely via Cloudinary with encrypted transmission.
Infrastructure & Hosting
Estadia is hosted on Google Cloud. Both the application runtime (Cloud Run) and the PostgreSQL database (Cloud SQL) are within the scope of Google Cloud's SOC 2 Type II reports and ISO 27001 certification. File storage is provided by Cloudinary, which maintains SOC 2 Type II certification.
Access Controls
Every user is authenticated before accessing any data. Access to an estate is scoped to the firm handling it: only members of that firm's workspace, and the people the firm has added to the estate, can see it. Role-based permissions (Executor, Admin, Member) govern which actions each user can perform, as assigned by the administrator, and every server-side endpoint that reads or changes an estate checks that the caller belongs to it.
Data Privacy
Data is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes. Data is used solely to provide Estadia services. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@estadia.ai.
AI-Generated Documents
Estadia uses Anthropic's Claude API to assist with document drafting. Document generation requests are processed securely and are not used to train AI models. All AI-generated documents are clearly labeled as drafts and must be reviewed by a qualified professional before use.
Audit Logging
Estadia keeps a per-estate activity record of changes made to the estate's records, naming who made each change and when. Estate members can review it at any time from the Activity tab within each estate.
